Stinger is a design inspired by the 70s to be a board for all waves, making it a great alternative to a step down board or for the more soul style surfer. More volume under the chest area means the board not only has an easy paddle, but holds the moment extremely well. The benefits are: ease of maintaining speed and smoother surfing.
The wings act as a pivot, allowing the tail to release easily and the board to arc tighter in turns.
